rofessor Yunus was received by the Minister of Youth and Sports of Italy Mr. Andrea Abodi at his office in Rome to discuss the preparation of the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics 2026.

Yunus's global organization Yunus Sports Hub is partnering with the Olympic Organizing Committee in bringing a social business dimension to the Milan Cortino Winter Olympics 2026. Chairman of the Olympic Committee of Italy Mr. Giovanni Malagò and high sports officials attended the meeting.

CEO of Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, Andrea Varnier, Chief Strategic Planning and Legacy Officer, Diana Bianchedi and Head of Legacy, Iacopo Mazzetti was present at the meeting. The discussions covered the integration of youth and universities in the hosting of inclusive and sustainable Games in Milano Cortina in 2026.

This was followed by high level meetings on addressing social procurement in sports with BNL and BNP Paribas Chairman, Claudia Cattani and her executive team at the international tennis tournament, The Italian Open 2024, where BNP Paribas is the title sponsor.
