Yunus Centre is proud to present the 6th annual Social Business Day to be held on May 28, 2015 in Dhaka! Hosted by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Professor Muhammad Yunus, this year’s event will have the theme of Turning Unemployment into Entrepreneurship’, continuing on last year’s discussion to look at ways that social business can tackle youth unemployment .

Social Business Day 2015 is an opportunity for you to explore the concept of social business and your role in this global movement alongside leading experts in the field. You will be able to collaborate on developing sustainable solutions to real world problems with international and local actors, corporate and social leaders, NGOs, students, and innovators. The day long event which was been attended by over 1200 participants from 30 countries last year in the past will allow you to meet social business entrepreneurs face to face and discuss their business models, achievements, and challenges. This year we look forward to making it bigger and better with a expected audience of 2,000 participants from home and abroad.

The event will feature a series of plenary sessions and interactive workshops that are tailored to offer expert knowledge about specific aspects of social business as a way of tackling society’s most pressing problems. We will also be hosting a Social Business Marketplace to showcase a variety of successful social businesses.
