Grameen Trust (GT) crosses 7,000 Nobin Projects (NPs)
Grameen Trust (GT) reached 7,117 Nobin projects in its 333rd Executive Design Lab (EDL) held on September 13, 2018 at Shahrail Unit under Manikganj Anchal. The Design Lab was chaired by Mr. A.S.M. Shahidul Haque, Anchal Prodhan, Manikganj Anchal. A total of fifteen proposals were presented by the potential new entrepreneurs and all the proposals were unanimously approved during the Lab.
Till September 13, 2018, GT has approved 7,117 Nobin projects with the equity investment of BDT 57,70,95,000 (USD 6,952,952.00). The businesses of these projects include shop, livestock and fisheries, handicraft & cottage industry, micro business, service & transportation, agriculture & forestry etc. Among 7,117 New Entrepreneurs, 626 are female.
