This panel aim is to act as an exclusive space for China’s social business experts to share their work, know-how, case studies and insights on how social businesses were initiated and are growing in a country with a complex reality such as China.
At Social Business Day 2015, there will be 12 concurrent panel sessions to discuss all aspects of social business. These panel sessions will cover concept and ideas, present status, future plans and potentialities of social business around the globe.

The aim of this panel session is to discuss ways of developing attractive academic courses, action teams, discussion groups and awareness on the topic of social business. Furthermore, the role of academia in creating student groups that interact with local community businesses shall be covered in more details. While exploring number of international universities case studies and their relation with social business incubators.
Room: Milestone
This panel will highlight of the theme of this year’s conference- “We are not job-seekers; we are job-givers”. The speakers will discuss the process through which the “Nobin Udyokta” or new entrepreneurs are selected and mentored; and their ideas incubated and implemented. The panel will also discuss how young people are given the financial and entrepreneurial leverage by various Grameen equity investments and social businesses.

This panel session is designed to give participants insights into some innovative and groundbreaking social businesses. This panel session will be an opportunity to learn, connect and share interesting ideas on how we all can contribute to society through new and innovative ways
Room: Carnival 2
This Panel offers insight into how social businesses can scale up their impact and revolutionize their daily business operations using accessible tools. A discussion shall take place on how technology can accelerate the impact of social businesses, starting from mobile banking, social media and number of other tools that could allow profit and impact maximization.
Room: Legendary
This panel addresses the crucial need for international communities to challenge the shortage of access to health services. Experts shall share cases studies and explain the role of social business in increasing global health standards in rural areas at a low cost.
Room: Eternity
This panel gives attendees the opportunity to understand how Grameen microcredit works and how it has been replicated worldwide. The panel will also provide case studies of how microfinance institutions develop their business models as social businesses.
Room: Executive Lounge
This panel will bring together youth leaders who are working to promote the missions and visions of social business locally and globally. They shall discuss how their pioneered platforms for youth in collaboration with academic institutions act as a space to build a better tomorrow.
Room: Windy Town
This panel will address how social business can access loans and equities. In addition, case studies on other innovative funding options such as crowd-funding, loan guarantees, sponsorship, design lab platforms, and more shall be shared and discussed.
Room: Media Bazar
This panel is devoted to address any remaining questions on the topic of social business. Audience members can submit their questions prior to the Social Business Day and also during the event. Social business experts are expected to prepare responses for the pre received questions and be ready to answer number of question on the spot during the panel session.

This session is aimed introducing the Methodology of the Yunus Centre Social Business Design Lab. The Design lab is a monthly daylong event at Yunus Center. It acts as a hub for social business experts and incubators to interact with participants from a variety of backgrounds and critically evaluate young entrepreneurs proposed projects.
Room: Harmony 2
This panel aim is to act as an exclusive space for China’s social business experts to share their work, know-how, case studies and insights on how social businesses were initiated and are growing in a country with a complex reality such as China.
Room: Harmony 1
This panel features 3-6 Nobin Udyoktas (NU) or new entrepreneurs who shall present their business proposals and investment requests to design lab audience members. Social business experts and other attendees would have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the NUs. To those who are unaware; NUs are the children of Grameen Bank borrowers who seek to create employment for themselves and others through entrepreneurial skills.
