Professor Yunus Graced the High-Level Events in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan

Nobel Peace Prize laureate and microfinance pioneer, Professor Muhammad Yunus, delivered his keynotes on his captivating idea of Social Business and The World of Three Zeros at the Qalam Media Group Event in Astana, Kazakhstan, and the prestigious Central Asian University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The Qalam Media Group Event, held on December 19th in Astana, featured Professor Yunus as the keynote speaker, addressing an audience of scholars, Government representatives including Mr Nurbek Sayasat, Minister of Digital Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Mr Bogdat Musin, minister of Digital Development and Innovation of Kazakhstan, and Mr Kairat Kelimbetov, Manager of Astana International Financial Centre and former Minister of Economy and Head of the National Bank of Kazakhstan,  Business leaders including Timur Turlov, Founder and Owner of the investment group Freedom Holding Corp, and the general public.

The Qalam Media Group, headquartered in Kazakhstan, is a multi-platform scientific and educational media dedicated to history and culture, that aims to provide a platform for dialogue on pressing global issues and fostering intellectual exchange as seen from the Asian perspective.

Following the Qalam Event in Astana, Professor Yunus visited Tashkent, Uzbekistan on December 21st and shared his insights and vision of a world of three zeros adopting the idea of Social Business and Three Zero Clubs with students, faculty, and guests at the Central Asian University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The president of the university Mr Kamran Gulamov hosted Professor Yunus with honours and showed a huge interest in collaborating on the field of Health, Education and other fields with the Yunus Centre.
