Due to deforestation, Brazil nowadays has lost approximately 85 million hectares of native forest. The reforestation chain in Brazil is quite fragmented. There is lack of knowledge exchange between academia and implementers as well as high scarcity of skill labor for reforestation.

How does the social business solve this problem?

Companies receiving public tenders are legally obliged to reforest the fraction of rain forest they use. Assobio’s services for those companies include planting and maintaining of native seedlings as well as forest monitoring and the creation of Private Reserves.
